Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of AlefOrigins on the web and in the iOS app (the “Service”), provided by Bugu Labs LLC. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the iOS app, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Your account

You must be an adult to create an account. Parents, guardians and organizations may create accounts for children and are responsible for their use. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.

Subscriptions

• Full access requires a subscription, unless you have access through an organization or a partner program.
• On the web, subscriptions are billed annually through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• In the iOS app, subscriptions are billed by Apple to your Apple Account, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your device's Settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
• New subscribers in the iOS app may be offered a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts into a paid annual subscription at the price shown when you started it. Each Apple Account can use the trial once.
• Prices are shown before you subscribe and may change; we'll tell you in advance, and changes apply from your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Use the Service for personal learning or teaching. Don't copy or redistribute its content, attempt to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with the Service, or share your account outside your household.

Content

The lessons, illustrations, games and other materials belong to Bugu Labs LLC or its licensors. Biblical verses are traditional texts; our presentation of them is ours. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content through the Service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep AlefOrigins available and accurate, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent the law allows. We may update or change features. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bugu Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy). Deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
